This is another version of the painting called “The Porch, Sunday Morning.” In this painting, it was the bright light that flooded the room in the late morning that captured my attention. It was so bright, it drained the color out of the normally bright table cloth, the hydrangeas and the cushions on the chairs. It’s a much softer painting than the first porch painting with a more feminine quality.
