After painting “Cathedral, Afternoon”, I wanted to go back the next morning to catch the mountain with different light. It was a very bright morning and the mountain was vibrantly lit. From my vantage point on Sue’s ranch, I could see the creek in front of Cathedral and hear the water rushing through the canyon.
