This is the last painting I made while in Taos before the attacks on September 11. I remember how peaceful and lonely and quiet the land was. I painted with Susan Snow, a dear friend of mine. This is the last painting I made for several weeks. The next painting I was to do would be about 3 weeks later on the coast of the Pacific (Foggy Day Blues).
