Contemporary Fauvist, Expressionist Painter
I don't know what's happening. After 25 years in Northern California, I moved from Marin, Sonoma and San Francisco 5 months ago. I can't stop painting scenes of where I just came from. Call it Reverie. This is the third big painting of China Camp, and they are big. For some reason, now that I have a small studio, I am painting big. The first of this series is called China Camp Village from the Bluffs. It is very solitary. And the second one, China Camp, Looking East is a bit surreal as well as solitary. Am I here or am I there? |
