Contemporary Fauvist, Expressionist Painter
In the back of my home, when I lived in Sonoma, there were beautiful and bountiful oak trees. I had blazed a trail through the woods from my morning and sunset walks. In the summer, the grass (weeds) was so parched from the heat, that it was a bright golden brown. One hot day in the summer, I made this painting of my little bit of Sonoma Mountain. |
