Not far from my home in Santa Barbara, in the small coastal town of Carpenteria, I found this beautiful nursery nestled in the foothillls of the Valley. The rows of colorful flowers, the sunlit greenhouses and the St. Ynez mountains as a backdrop with the special light of the central coast demanded my attention.
