I love parades. It’s all about energy in a parade, and in the Santa Barbara Solstice parade, there is non-stop energy. It was a hot hot hot day, but that did not stop the dancers, the float builders, the marching bands, the mayor, the parade watchers. The sunlight, the colors and the happy spirits-- I tried to capture it all on this canvas.
