This painting was one of the last ones I made before moving from my beautiful Sonoma Mountain. During the 6 months before I moved, I painted everything...the hills, my little garden, even my very Tuscan dining room. That’s me in the mirror painting at my easel. There is my favorite vase, the silk curtains I made, the Italian tile that Victor laid into the floor, the seat cushions I made, the candle stick holders that I bought for Victor 12 years ago in Paris, a painting of “Dave’s Vineyard” hanging on the wall and on and on and on. “The Table” is full of wonderful memories of another life.
