Casanova Restaurant in Carmel, California is a most charming and intimate setting for a meal. The owners have artists’ eyes. In every corner of the restaurant inside and out is a painting waiting to happen. And the food and wine are outstanding. You’ll think you are in the South of France with this culinary feast for all the senses. This painting is of the table at which Vincent Van Gogh enjoyed his meals at the Auberge Ravoux. The first time I painted it was at the Carmel Plein Air Festival Quick Draw. The painting was sold within 15 minutes of me finishing it.
