Tamalpais’ Dipsea Trail hundreds of times to Stinson Beach, just north of San Francisco. Most days I arrived in the fog, but on rare occasions, I am rewarded with a hot sunny beach. There were sunbathers, surfers, hikers, walkers, all sorts of happy spirits wandering the beach on this sunny summer day. The fog teases us and hangs out there, rolling in, then out, then back in, threatening to throw a blanket of fog across the beach. On this perfect summer day, the sun won the battle.
