”Stormy Old Barn” 16“ x 20“ 

This painting began on a very rainy plein air weekend in April in San Miguel, California. But this particular morning the sun was in full force. After a few hours of painting from the back of my paint-mobile, the sun disappeared, the clouds moved in and the stormy day took over. I drove back to my Santa Barbara studio and with a few bold brush strokes I finished the painting.
