I made this painting ten years ago today--and it is one of my all time favorites. It was my first painting after moving from Sonoma to Santa Barbara. I have painted this Queen of California's Missions ten times - one per year and more to come. This is one of the settings I bring my students to during the Santa Barbara Painting workshop.
