Tip: "I don't make straight lines and I don't want my painting to be edgy and perfect. I am a painter (not a graphic designer) and I want a painterly effect. In my painting "The Porch, Sunday Morning," I painted the door with window panes then repainted the negative spaces inside the panes a few times until I had a certain "accidental" rough spontaneous look. I wanted it to look like I did it quickly, however I really labored over it to get this feeling."
